Real Madrid eased into the FIFA Club World Cup last 16 with a commanding 3-0 win over RB Salzburg. The victory secured top spot in Group H for Madrid while the Austrian side saw their tournament come to an end. Madrid’s first goal came from a touch of class as Jude Bellingham linked beautifully with Vinicius Jr who calmly finished to break the deadlock. Moments later Vinicius turned creator setting up Fede Valverde to double the lead. With the game firmly in their control Madrid added a third. Youngster Gonzalo Garcia showed composure beyond his years lifting the ball delicately over goalkeeper Christian Zawieschitzky to seal the win. The result sets up a mouthwatering last 16 clash with Juventus where Madrid will look to keep their quest for Club World Cup glory alive.
